Emergency Veterinary Services
In days gone by, most veterinarians would personally be on call 24/7 to help handle emergencies for their clientele. While this is still the case in most rural areas, the trend in more populated areas such as the Front Range is to offer animal owners a recorded message that informs them to contact the nearest emergency hospital for help. While these clinics probably have the right idea in terms of maintaining their sanity, (especially when it is -20 outside!) we at Tabby Road Animal Hospital believe that it is important to consult with a regular veterinarian during those inopportune times when emergencies occur. Please call our regular office number should your animal require assistance. If you are unable to reach us, please allow 15 minutes and call back which will allow us to enter a service area. If you are unable to reach someone on the second try, please call Colorado State University for further assistance.
We also take calls for large animal emergencies and can travel to your location.
