Meet the Team

Jessica

I have over 20 years experience working with animals. In November of 2004 I graduated from Canine Clippers School of Pet Grooming. Before moving to Colorado I professionally groomed for 18 years at a vet clinic in Virginia. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!!

Meghann

Born and raised in Missouri, I have always loved caring for animals of all types and sizes. Life then brought my daughter and me to Colorado in 2011, where life has allowed me to live the life I always wanted. I am working on getting my associate's degree in veterinary technology and becoming a certified veterinary technician. Working at tabby road has allowed me to follow a true passion giving me the joy of helping care for so many animals and meet some fantastic owners. When I'm not at Tabby Road, I enjoy spending time at my home in the mountains riding my horses, hiking with my family and dogs, or studying on the couch with my cats.

Kirsten

I was born and raised in Colorado. Growing up with two dogs made me realize my love and connection with all furry creatures. I enjoy meeting new animals and their fun/interesting personalities. I would find any excuse to work with animals (including pet-sitting and dog walking since I was 14), so I was thrilled when I started interning at Tabby Road Animal Hospital in 2020. I was officially hired in January 2021. I am currently an undergrad at CSU; I will graduate in Fall 2021 with a degree in biology. After graduation, I hope to get into CSU's veterinary school (so I can continue to make excuses to hang out with animals all day). Outside of school and work, I enjoy being outdoors; hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, reading, and playing ping pong.

I make bad decisions although being part of the tabby road team is not one of them!

Dawn

I am originally from New York and have loved animals since I was a child. Our family moved to Florida when I was still fairly young. Throughout the years, we were fortunate to care for horses, cattle, cats, dogs, birds, turtles, rabbits, and fish. I spent several years working in the veterinary field in Florida and loved it. Life brought me to Colorado, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in 2007. After years in the computer field, I realized that caring for animals was where I truly belonged. I have been with Tabby Road for approximately five years, now. I am certified in pet laser therapy and am a strong animal advocate who loves helping all creatures. When I am not at Tabby Road, I can be found lounging with my cats and dog, or can even be caught roller skating!

Leif

I have been working at Tabby Road Animal Hospital for about two years. I love everything about my job, but my favorite part is ensuring all of the animals that are entrusted to us are loved and well cared for during their stay. I have lived in Colorado all of my life. When I am not caring for the animals at Tabby Road, I enjoy hiking, long boarding, fishing, and just being outside and enjoying nature in general.
